Don't Let Society Dictate
What does society drum into us when we are growing up?
- Get yourself a good education.
- Get yourself a job and work your way up the corporate ladder.
- Save money and build a good pension.
- Work until you retire.
- After retirement, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour.
This is so far removed from what life shows us. Nothing is guaranteed and recent events have proven that there is no such thing as a safe job.
When you are doing something you are passionate about, studying and hard work never feels like a sacrifice. Why should you wait until retirement to start enjoying the fruits of your labour, when your health may not allow you to?
Ultimately, success is guaranteed when you invest in yourself and learn from those who have already achieved what you want. And remember, it is never too late to start over!
Higher Purpose
When you have a higher purpose you will find the energy and courage to go outside your comfort zone. You will take risks and reap the rewards. You will have good and bad experiences but these will teach you something about yourself.
You need to give up on self-interested goals and take on contributed goals, i.e. concentrate on those goals that add value to the lives of others.
Finding your purpose in life will bring you health, wealth, and happiness. It isn’t something that can be done in a few days, weeks, or months but is most likely to be a lifelong journey taking one step at a time. Details about the following 7 tips can be found in this article:

"Don't trade who you are for who you think the world needs."
