The Last Thing To Worry About
I just watched a video tutorial about having a personal brand and how the logo and colour scheme should be the last thing to worry about. The presenter went on to say that anyone starting a business should imagine they had already achieved their ideal life and are doing what they want and what they love. This is where I find my stumbling block, my proverbial brick wall.
Your Ideal Life
I really cannot say what I would love to be doing in my ideal life other than it revolving around the typical, and rather selfish, materialistic lifestyle. I know that if I were to get to the point of living that lifestyle, I would be bored and unfulfilled.
Some recommend basing a business around your passion, but I don’t have one. I thought it was music and DJing but that turned out not to be the case and I haven’t missed it since I stopped 4 years ago. I haven’t even bought music since then.
I do enjoy certain things and get excited but I wouldn’t be the person who would read as much as possible about it. For example, I love supercars but I just look at them. I don’t know the names or how powerful the engine is and I wouldn’t have the desire to learn about the specifics. I suppose you could say I appreciate them as a work of art.
Voyage Of Discovery
So, I don’t have a passion and I’m currently unable to visualise what business I would love to be doing in my life of success and excess. I can, however, visualise the materialistic life but, as I said, that is not fulfilment.
It seems that the journey set for me is potentially down a long and winding path of discovery. Discovery of who I am and what I have to offer. We are all unique and have something of value to share, I just hope that my hard work and commitment to this program can cast a light on what that is.
