Staying Indoors
It is clear that I am not my perky self in this video. I wouldn't normally have any issues with staying indoors all day, but to be told you really should avoid it has gotten me down.
It also didn't help that my mind was wandering and thinking about going shopping and visiting people. Luckily I had a webinar with a group of positive people who really picked me up and helped me through the rest of the day.
There are constant reminders that there is a LOT to get through on the training I have signed up for. Just a small part of setting up the website is the cookie policy, disclaimer, disclosure and privacy policy all needing to be added. So procrastination has to stop and I need to take action.
Prioritising
I have been listening to an audiobook called 'Eat That Frog' by Brian Tracy that is all about tackling procrastination and getting into the mindset of prioritising and acting on the most significant, most difficult, the most time-consuming, the most annoying and very important but (once completed) the most satisfying tasks.
I would say that everything that is covered in the book sounds like common sense, but I still needed someone else to tell me. I am so glad I have listened to it. Lists have been written down, I have marked them in order of importance and I feel I am actually achieving things.
